Team Leader - Accounting

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting for 5–6 companies. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, client coordination, and the ability to deliver timely month-end closings and MIS reports. You will also be responsible for leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping, accounting, and general ledger management for multiple companies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and other MIS reports.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on payments.
• Handle stock management, generate DOs, invoices, and project-based billing.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company filing policies.
• Coordinate with clients for timely closure of monthly accounts.
• Lead and manage a team of 3–4 accounting staff.

Skills & Software Knowledge

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, Subtotals, etc.).
• Experience with accounting tools such as Xero, MYOB, Sage, QuickBooks.
• Ability to independently manage client accounts, finalization, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• MBA, M.Com, CMA, CMA Inter, or CA Inter (preferred).

Experience Required

• Total Experience: 5–6 years in accounting and taxation.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years in audit, taxation, and preparation of final accounts (India), ideally at a CA firm or corporate.
