As a Teacher in the Education department, your role involves creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities include designing lesson plans, delivering instructions, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards. - Use various teaching methods to engage students with different learning styles. - Integrate technology, multimedia, and hands-on activities to enhance learning. - Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Establish clear expectations for behavior and classroom conduct. - Maintain discipline and create a respectful and inclusive classroom culture. - Address student conflicts and behavioral issues effectively. - Assess student understanding through assignments, tests, and projects. - Provide constructive feedback and support to improve student performance. - Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress. - Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress. - Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration. - Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and training sessions. - Identify students who need additional support and provide necessary interventions. - Encourage students" personal and academic growth. - Support students with special needs by working with support staff and following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred). - State teaching certification or license. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to inspire and motivate students. - Proficiency in classroom technology and digital learning tools.
