Job Description: As a Teacher Librarian at The Shri Ram Academy (TSRA) located in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in overseeing library operations and creating an engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include curating and organizing library materials, delivering instructional sessions, supporting research and information literacy, and ensuring effective library management. Your role will contribute to the school's curriculum goals by fostering a culture of inquiry and lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities: - Curate and organize library materials to support the educational needs of students and educators - Deliver engaging library instruction sessions focused on information literacy and research methodologies - Assist users in accessing resources effectively and efficiently - Manage library resources, including acquisition and catalog maintenance - Foster a welcoming environment in the library to encourage student engagement - Support curriculum goals by integrating library resources into the teaching and learning process Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in Library Services, with a focus on resource curation and user support - Proficiency in Library Science and Metadata for accurate information organization - Strong skills in Library Management, including resource acquisition and catalog maintenance - Ability to deliver effective Library Instruction sessions that promote information literacy and student engagement - Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a passion for inspiring learners - Familiarity with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and inquiry-based learning is advantageous - A Masters degree in Library Science, Information Studies, or a related field is required for this role,
