Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Test Architect to lead the test strategy and architecture for our TCMS (Train Control and Management System) project. The role involves designing scalable, efficient, and safety-compliant test frameworks and processes to ensure the quality and reliability of mission-critical embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the overall test strategy, test architecture, and quality goals for the TCMS project.
Collaborate with system architects, developers, and verification teams to ensure test coverage aligns with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., EN 50128).
Design and oversee implementation of automated test frameworks for embedded systems, integration testing, and HIL/SIL setups.
Ensure compliance with rail domain standards and safety integrity levels (SIL).
Evaluate and recommend testing tools, environments, and best practices.
Mentor and guide test engineers, ensuring adherence to defined processes and quality benchmarks.
Lead defect triaging and root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams.
Requirements:
Strong experience in embedded system testing and real-time systems.
In-depth knowledge of rail domain standards like EN 50126/50128/50129.
Hands-on experience with test automation, test tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, NI TestStand, or similar), and scripting (Python, CAPL, etc.).
Solid understanding of software development life cycles and V-model processes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
