Tax Specialist

Role Overview: As a Senior Tax Specialist at Deutsche Brse Group in India, you will play a crucial role in managing all tax-related matters for the Indian entity. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring compliance with Indian direct and indirect tax regulations, supporting the establishment of local tax processes, and contributing to tax planning and risk assessments. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in a dynamic, international environment. Key Responsibilities: - Handle compliance with Indian direct and indirect tax regulations such as GST, TDS, income tax, and transfer pricing. - Support in establishing and maintaining local tax processes, including a tax compliance management system. - Coordinate with external consultants and authorities on tax matters. - Stay updated on changes in Indian tax laws and assist in internal communication. - Contribute to both internal and external audits, as well as tax-related documentation. - Assist in tax planning initiatives and risk assessments. - Support IFRS-based reporting by conducting current and deferred tax calculations and disclosures. - Collaborate with the German headquarters on tax-related topics. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Preferred qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or similar certification. - Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in Indian tax compliance and advisory. - Strong understanding of Indian tax laws. - Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Advantageous to have experience in a multinational setting.,
