Tax Executive

Role Overview: As a member of the global community at Expeditors, you will play a crucial role in the international logistics industry, contributing to the seamless flow of global trade. Your primary responsibility will be to provide Tax Preparation Assistance by aiding in the preparation and filing of various tax returns such as GST returns and corporate taxes. Your attention to detail will ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. Key Responsibilities: - Offer support in litigations by collating internal data and assisting in crafting responses to Tax authorities. - Engage in Data Gathering and Organization, responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining financial documents essential for tax return preparation. - Conduct Basic Tax Research to support tax planning and compliance efforts by researching tax issues, regulations, and deductions. - Assist in reconciliations such as the reconciliation of GSTR 2A/2B with vendor invoices and other related tasks. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. - Minimum of 1 year of working experience in tax, specifically GST, Income Tax, and TDS. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other relevant software. - Excellent communication skills to effectively carry out responsibilities.
