Role Description

Accario is seeking a full-time Australian Tax Consultant for a hybrid role based in Sri Lanka, which offers a combination of in-office work and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Australian tax returns, maintaining compliance with Australian taxation laws, and advising clients on tax-related matters. Key tasks include conducting tax planning, communicating with clients, processing tax documents, ensuring accuracy, and staying updated on Australian tax legislation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Australian tax compliance, tax planning, and advising on tax law guidelines
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with tax return preparation
• Familiarity with accounting software and experience with digital tools for tax filings
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, for client interactions
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; being a CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Prior understanding or experience within Australian taxation laws is preferred
