Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing traditional Indian dishes using a tandoor oven, including tandoori meats, breads, and kebabs. The Tandoor Chef will ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook dishes using the tandoor, such as naan, roti, kebabs, and tandoori chicken. Marinate meats and vegetables according to traditional recipes. Manage tandoor temperature and cooking times to ensure consistent quality. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor area and kitchen tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage food preparation and service. Monitor inventory of tandoor-related ingredients and report shortages. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, especially tandoori-style cooking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Culinary diploma or certification in Indian cuisine (optional but preferred). Experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Work Location: In person
