Job Title: Tandoor Commis 1Job Description:

As a Tandoor Commis 1, you will support the Tandoor Chef and culinary team in preparing and cooking tandoori dishes such as kebabs, naan, roti, and marinated meats. This role requires a basic understanding of traditional tandoor techniques, spice blends, and hygiene standards. You’ll assist in maintaining the tandoor, ensuring ingredient preparation, and delivering consistent quality in all dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of tandoori dishes under the supervision of the Tandoor Chef.
• Prepare marinades, skew meats, and shape doughs for naan and roti.
• Ensure proper heating and cleaning of the tandoor oven.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tandoor station.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and notify superiors of shortages.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of tandoor cooking and Indian spices.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a hot environment around open flames.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen brigade.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
