Tamil Journalist & Social Media Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Tamil Journalist who is fluent in both Tamil and English and can also handle Social Media Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for news, storytelling, and digital content creation, with the ability to grow and engage audiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:Journalism Duties:

• Research, write, and report accurate and engaging news stories in Tamil.
• Translate or adapt content between Tamil and English as needed.
• Conduct interviews and cover live events or newsworthy happenings.
• Work closely with the editorial team to ensure timely publishing of content.

Social Media Management:

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, etc.).
• Create compelling captions, headlines, and post content in Tamil and English.
• Monitor engagement, respond to followers, and manage community interaction.
• Track analytics and insights to optimize content reach and performance.
• Stay updated with trends and suggest creative strategies to boost online presence.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in journalism and/or social media management.
• Strong command over Tamil writing and communication.
• Good proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of news trends, social media tools, and digital content strategy.
• Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
