Job Title: All-Rounder Master Tailor Location: Solapur, Maharashtra Industry: Retail – Apparel & Fashion (Family Store) Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time

ABOUT US:

We are a reputed retail chain based in Solapur with 7 family store outlets and over 20 years of delivering quality apparel to our customers. We are looking for a skilled and experienced All-Rounder Master Tailor who can handle various types of stitching, alterations, and garment finishing with perfection. Expertise in ethnic wear will be a strong advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Stitch and finish garments of various types (men’s, women’s, and kids’ wear) as per design and measurements

 Specialize in ethnic wear (saree blouses, lehengas, sherwanis, kurta-pajamas, anarkalis, etc.) with perfect fitting and finishing

 Perform alterations, adjustments, and repairs with high accuracy

 Work with different fabrics including cotton, silk, chiffon, georgette, denim, wool, and blends

 Take customer measurements accurately and suggest fit adjustments

 Cut fabric according to patterns and ensure minimal wastage

 Guide and supervise junior tailors or helpers if needed

 Maintain sewing machines and tools in good condition

 Ensure timely delivery of garments while maintaining quality standards

 Stay updated with fashion and ethnic wear trends to suggest design improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

 Minimum 5 years of professional tailoring experience

 Expertise in all-round stitching (suits, shirts, trousers, blouses, ethnic wear, etc.)

 Proven ability to work with a variety of fabrics and patterns

 Strong knowledge of garment fitting, cutting, and finishing techniques

 Ethnic wear expertise will be considered a major advantage

 Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

 Good communication skills (Hindi/Marathi preferred)

 Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
