Tableau Server Administrator

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Along with this, you should possess at least 3 years of experience in Tableau Server administration and support. Your knowledge should extend to Tableau Server architecture, components, and processes. Experience with Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian, is required. Your proficiency should include Tableau Server installation, configuration, upgrade, and administration. You should also have hands-on experience in Tableau Server performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Moreover, you must be familiar with Tableau Server security implementation and management. As part of your responsibilities, you will be expected to handle Tableau Server backup and restore operations, as well as disaster recovery planning and testing. Providing technical support and training to Tableau users, developers, and analysts will be part of your daily tasks. Integration of Tableau with other data sources and platforms should also be within your skill set. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Possession of a certification in Tableau Server Administration or Development will be considered a plus.,
