Tableau Lead

As the Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst at our company, your primary focus will be on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. You will lead applications systems analysis and programming activities and collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into effective Tableau dashboards and reports. Here are the key responsibilities for this role: - Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Tableau - Managing a small team of Tableau developers and assisting them in meeting business requirements - Developing interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports - Providing technical guidance and support to other Tableau developers and end-users - Staying updated on Tableau best practices and industry trends - Driving the vision for reporting and analytics capability supporting all use cases - Studying and brainstorming existing business requirements to suggest implementable solutions - Working with business teams to design and deliver high-quality automation solutions - Optimizing Tableau performance through fine-tuning queries, data extracts, and dashboard designs To excel in this role, you should have a finance background with an engineering undergrad degree and at least 10 to 13 years of experience in driving digital or business intelligence tool rollouts. Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online, as well as a strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices, is essential. Additionally, hands-on knowledge of SQL Fundamentals, SQL Queries, SQL joins, and relational databases is required. Here are the qualifications needed for this position: - Finance background with an engineering undergrad degree - 10 to 13 years of experience in driving digital or business intelligence tool rollouts - Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online - Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices - Hands-on knowledge of SQL Fundamentals, SQL Queries, SQL joins, and relational databases - Basic understanding of CICD pipelines - Experience in data modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and project management skills A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline is required for this position. Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in managing large-scale projects using Agile will be preferred.
