Tableau Developer - AS

• As a Tableau Developer you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights.
• You will work closely with our data analysis team to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Tableau dashboards and reports that meet the analytical needs of various business units
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Tableau reports and dashboards
• Perform data cleansing and preparation to ensure accuracy and reliability of visualizations
• Implement data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability of dashboards.
• Conduct user training sessions to promote effective use of Tableau tools
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data visualization

Your skills and experience

Required:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations
• Fundamental understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience in creating visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that drive business insights
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity in reporting

Preferred:

• Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI, QlikView
• Experience with programming languages such as Python
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of data governance best practices and data quality frameworks
• Certifications related to Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) are an advantage

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:

• Deep expertise in Tableau, including server architecture and administration
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with data cleaning tools and techniques
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
• Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions is a plus
