You have an exciting opportunity to join Illumina as a Tableau Analyst in Bangalore, India. As part of the Finance performance management team, you will play a crucial role in driving the scale out and sustainability of the enterprise planning and analytics environment. Your responsibilities will include creating, updating, and optimizing Tableau dashboards and data visualizations, utilizing Tableau's platform to generate valuable insights, designing and developing reports using various techniques, establishing and monitoring new KPIs, collecting and normalizing data from multiple sources, creating, testing, and deploying dashboards and reports, defining access controls, conducting in-depth data analysis, designing wireframes and prototype beta dashboards, monitoring and enhancing the performance of Tableau reports, developing and implementing best practices for system processes, and building positive relationships with key business partners. Key Responsibilities: - Create, update, and optimize Tableau dashboards and data visualizations. - Utilize Tableau's platform to generate valuable insights and drive business decisions. - Design and develop reports using various graphical and data modeling techniques. - Establish and monitor new KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. - Collect and normalize data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and completeness. - Create, test, and deploy dashboards and reports, and set up automated data refreshes. - Define access controls and implement necessary security measures. - Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate accurate, actionable reports. - Design wireframes and prototype beta dashboards with a focus on user experience and visibility. - Continuously monitor and enhance the performance and functionality of Tableau reports and dashboards. - Develop and implement the best practices for system processes, new models, enhancements, and training. - Build and maintain positive relationships with key business partners and understand their reporting needs, issues, and provide innovative solutions. Qualifications: - Proven experience in developing and managing Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics. - Strong ability to query and handle large data sets while ensuring optimal workbook performance. - Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - 2+ years of Tableau development experience. - Strong understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, and standardization techniques. - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work. - Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. - Business knowledge of finance and/or accounting functions is a plus. Education: - 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Applied Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field required; or Master's degree without experience; or equivalent experience. - Tableau Certifications a plus.,
