Systems Support Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for improving the support experience for API customers at Creditsafe. Your role will involve providing Level 3 technical support to Product Support and UK Solutions teams for the Connect API Product. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical queries related to .NET backend (C#, .NET Core, WebAPI, MVC) and frontend (React/AngularJS). Additionally, you will coach team members on effective troubleshooting techniques, manage customer expectations, become a product expert on the Connect API Product, and develop documentation and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Level 3 technical support to Product Support and UK Solutions teams for the Connect API Product. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical queries using expertise in .NET backend (C#, .NET Core, WebAPI, MVC) and frontend (React/AngularJS). - Coach team members on effective troubleshooting techniques and best practices. - Manage customer expectations and ensure key SLAs are consistently met. - Become a product expert on the Connect API Product and develop documentation (FAQs, How-Tos, troubleshooting guides). - Design and deliver automation solutions (using .NET, Python, and AWS services) to streamline customer support tasks. - Collaborate with API development teams to stay updated on ongoing development work and resolve complex queries. Qualifications Required: - Programming experience in languages such as C# (.NET Core, Web API, MVC), Python, or Node.js. - Track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues in live production environments. - Proficiency with REST clients like Postman for API testing and debugging. - Experience in a technical operations support role. - Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch/X-Ray for analysis of dashboards, metrics, traces, and log analytics. - Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps and repositories like GIT. - Experience integrating with RESTful APIs. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Initiative-taking and ability to use own initiative. - Creativity, high standards, and ability to develop imaginative solutions.
