About the Team The Systems Reliability Engineer II will join a dynamic and collaborative team at Nutanix, focused on delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring the reliability of our services. This team, based in Pune, thrives on innovation and problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, and teamwork. The mission of the team is dedicated to improving customer satisfaction while contributing to the overall business success through cutting-edge projects that directly enhance our customers experiences and successes. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Worldwide Support, who fosters a supportive and customer-centric leadership style emphasizing collaboration and growth. The work setup for this position is a hybrid model, requiring team members to be in the office three days a week for meetings and collaboration, while allowing flexibility for remote work on the other days. This role does not require any travel, enabling you to focus on delivering outstanding support and service to our customers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a hybrid setup. Your Role Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure high customer satisfaction and service reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product defects and recommend serviceability enhancements. Analyze customer data to mitigate risks and improve overall product reliability. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Gather customer feedback to advocate for their needs in product enhancement discussions. Contribute to and expand internal and external knowledge bases for continuous improvement. Establish strong partnerships with technology allies to collaboratively resolve issues and implement improvements. Support coverage during weekdays and off-hours on a rotational basis as needed. What You Will Bring 4-6 years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering or related roles. Strong proficiency in troubleshooting Virtualization (VMware ESXi), Networking (layer 2/3), and Linux Systems. Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred. Customer-driven mindset with a passion for high-quality support experiences. Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge base initiatives. Familiarity with technologies from partners like VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft. Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
