System & Workflows Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for analysing our existing systems and workflows and developing strategies to improve efficiency and increase the digital content publishing capabilities of Sage, across multiple products.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct workflow and system analysis to identify pain-points and propose effective solutions.
• Work with key business partners, analysts and developers to produce new workflow requirements.
• Lead the team task management system and run deployment of new projects and features.
• Collaborate with global teams on new product workflow deployment to ensure on-time publication.
• Work with external teams to implement new processes in support of Sage's strategic goals.
• Maintain oversight of global digital publishing workflows to ensure optimal output whilst continuously seeking efficiencies.
• Provide global higher-level troubleshooting support to global departments
• Liaise with Sage's external vendors to ensure content compliance to specifications and superior quality.
• Provide effective training support where necessary to reduce queries.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Ability to analyse systems and workflows to develop creative solutions.
• Ability to work multi-functionally with other groups and 3rd party vendors.
• Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
• Ability to organise and direct projects within an Agile framework.
• Understanding of Lean Continuous Improvement methodology.
• Good working knowledge of XML, databases, XQuery, XSLT and XHTML required.
• Good knowledge of XML editing software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
