System Reliability Engineer / Operations Engineering - Data

As a Senior Operations Engineering / System Reliability Engineer - Data at our company, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and troubleshooting data quality and system performance. You will proactively identify and resolve data-related issues to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data. Your responsibilities will include performing data validation and verification in production environments, developing and executing test plans for data validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data validation into overall testing strategies. You will also be responsible for analyzing data trends and patterns, developing Kibana dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics, and providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance data quality and reliability. Additionally, you will work closely with Support, QA, Data, QOE, DevOps, and Engineering teams, participating in cross-functional meetings to discuss and plan data quality improvements. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or technical support, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving. You should possess deep technical expertise in networking technologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable. Preferred qualifications include experience working in a technical assistance center (TAC) or similar customer support environment, familiarity with network automation and scripting languages, knowledge of cloud networking technologies, and understanding of QOE, DPI, and Kibana.
