Job Description

As an experienced Systems Engineer with 3-5 years of experience, your role will involve providing support for Microsoft Windows platforms such as 2008, 2012, and higher. Your responsibilities will include: - Hands-on experience with Virtualization, Cluster, and Storage concepts - Proficiency in VMware, with mandatory skill sets - Configuring Windows security and conducting analysis based on CIS standards - Troubleshooting and optimizing Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and more - Creating and maintaining technical documentation for system configurations and procedures - Providing system availability, performance, and compliance reports - Controlling administrator rights on VM Infrastructure and utilizing VMware Converter Enterprise - Setting up resource pools, VMware Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS) cluster, and High Availability (HA) cluster - Installing ESXi servers, configuring virtual switches and network connections, and managing storage - Working on VMware Consolidated Backup, Update Manager, and Enterprise Converter - Managing ESXi servers, patching, and troubleshooting - Understanding of Storage (SAN/NAS) and Backup and Recovery mechanisms - Knowledge of migration tools like VMotion and Live Migration - Understanding of Network installations, Cisco Routers, Switches, LAN, WAN, Datacentre architectures, and services like DHCP, NTP, NAT, and ACL - Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT, and IPV4/6 addressing Your qualifications should include a B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA degree and expertise in Windows platforms, AD, VMware, Hyper V, MS Clustering, and Windows heterogeneous platform environments. Your experience and skills will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure.,
