Job Title: Network Engineer IV (Design & Build) Job Description: Do you want to work with the worlds #1 managed cloud hosting provider? We have an environment with over 50,000 network devices. Global Data Center Infrastructure (GDCI) Network Engineering is a project driven team and responsible for design and engineering of our datacenters and the MPLS network connecting them. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer-IV who will be responsible for the planning, design, configuration, integration & installation of our growing local area network (LAN) and/or global wide area network (WAN). The Network Engineer-IV will provide leadership in technical support and documentation to various departments and users with regards to the global infrastructure. The Network Engineer-IV serves as a liaison to gather network requirements from internal customers, vendors and other third-party providers. JOB REQUIREMENTS: DESIGN: Perform design requirements feasibility studies Perform vendor recommendation / selection and coordination for hardware testing and installations Examine theoretical and implemented designs for deficiencies and facilitate corrections BUILD: Prepare maintenance plan documentation & change management Examine maintenance plans for accuracy Script maintenance implementations Work in either a lead role or assisting role during maintenance implementations IMPROVEMENTS: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Method of Procedures (MOPs) Develop network standardization practices Document informational content for specialized network designs to be used for training needs Present and/or Train on new network typologies, hardware and technologies to internal teams Lead Root Cause Analysis sessions to achieve better networking practices Determine baseline requirements for our network needs Provide code analysis on existing software, IOS testing and software recommendations Create network lab mockups for error testing Automate repetitive Engineering tasks ADDITIONAL: Act as 4th level escalations POC for design or other related problems Conduct provider testing / deployment of new services Monitor capacity and plan for bandwidth additions Establish project priority based on business needs REQUIREMENTS: Expert level experience working with all of the following technologies/applications: MPLS, BGP, LDP, QoS, IPv6, OSPF, vPC , STP, DWDM, EVPN, L2VPN, MPLS VPN, L3VPN, FHRP, VLAN, CDP, port-channels, IS-IS, MPLS Inter-AS, VXLAN, DNS, ACL, RADb, Flowspec, RTBH, GitHub, APIs, NFV, Hypervisors, virtual switching Multi- vendor experience working with the following platforms: Cisco IOS, ASR 1k (IOS-XE), ASR NCS (IOS-XR), Nexus (NX-OS), Arista (EOS), Junos Industry recognized certifications: CCNA required, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP preferred, CCIE (R&S, SP or DC) highly preferred (or equivalent experience), Python PCEP Minimum 7-10 years recent experience with network design and build-out of LAN/WANs and/or large-scale network retrofits and remediations Experience working in service provider, datacenter/hosting environment or large-scale enterprise networks. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support. As a suitable candidate for this position located in Noida, you are required to hold a degree in B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA. Your experience should also include ESXi Server installation, configuring virtual switches, network connections, port groups, and storage. Moreover, you are expected to have knowledge of Storage (SAN/NAS), backup and recovery mechanisms, migration tools like VMotion and Live Migration, as well as network installations, implementations, and configurations involving Cisco Routers and Switches. Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and Datacentre architectures, as well as services like DHCP, NTP, ARP, NAT, and ACL is essential. A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, including IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT, ACL, and IPV4 and IPV6 addressing is required for this role.,
