Job Description

As an experienced candidate with 3-5 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting Microsoft Windows platforms (2008, 2012, and higher) and should have hands-on experience in Virtualization, Cluster, and Storage concepts. Your expertise in VMware is mandatory for this role. You should also possess knowledge and experience in Windows security configuration and analysis (CIS). Your role will involve troubleshooting and optimizing Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, File and Print Services, Windows Clustering, SFTP, DFS, Certificate Services, and Remote Desktop Services. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and resolve problems promptly - Create, maintain, and follow technical documentation detailing system configurations, procedures, and standards - Provide system availability, performance, and compliance reports - Proficient in controlling administrator rights on VM Infrastructure - Set up resource pools, VMware Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS) cluster, and VMware High Availability (HA) cluster - Configuration of virtual switches, network connections, and port groups - Configure Storage and work on VMware Consolidated Backup, Update Manager, Enterprise Converter - Manage ESXi Server Installation, Patching, and Troubleshooting - Good understanding of Storage (SAN/NAS) and Backup and Recovery mechanisms - Work on migrations tools like VMotion, Live Migration, etc. - Knowledge of Network installations, implementations, and configurations of Cisco Routers and Switches - Understand LAN, WAN, and Datacentre architectures - Familiarity with services like DHCP, NTP, ARP, NAT, and ACL - Proficient in TCP/IP networking including IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT, ACL - Understanding of IPV4 and IPV6 addressing Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA - 3+ years of experience - Thorough technical knowledge of Windows platform (Windows, AD, VMware, and Hyper V) - Expertise in Windows heterogeneous platform environments, including MS Clustering - Experience with VMware is mandatory (Note: No additional details of the company were mentioned in the provided Job Description.),
