Description
As a System Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for delivering innovative functionalities to our customers and optimizing the next generation of Open-RAN base-station products in LTE. This role is based in India and may require occasional travel for customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and live site deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer trials, PoCs, and live deployments as needed. - Analyze cellular system issues reported from internal labs or observed in the field by customers. - Ensure product conformance to the Technology Specifications (Open RAN, 3GPP). - Contribute to reviewing the design of new radio cellular features such as rate adaptation, power control, scheduler, and interference mitigation. - Challenge implemented solutions and suggest improvements. - Take ownership of features from early Proof of Concept through software implementation and release to customers. Qualifications Required: - 4 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field. - Expertise in 3GPP Radio protocols (LTE or 5G) and a strong understanding of wireless communication theory. - Product and customer-oriented mindset with a high curiosity for innovative solutions. - Experience as a system engineer, including specification definition, verification, and software development methodologies. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a global, multi-site environment. - Willingness to travel occasionally for customer PoCs and live site deployments. - Fluent in English with strong technical communication skills. - Hands-on capability for lab setup and testing. - Automation skills such as Automating Test using Python and Bash.
