System Architect

Role Overview: As a System Architect with 12+ years of experience, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end architecture covering React-TypeScript front-ends, FastAPI micro-services, Python business logic, Azure data layers, and OpenAI API integration. You will define interface contracts, event flows, observability standards, and non-functional requirements such as quality, security, data residency, and performance. Your role will also involve establishing prompt/response validation, abuse mitigation, and PII safeguards for GPT-4o-class models. Additionally, you will benchmark chat completion and Responses API, embed models, and tune retrieval pipelines for factual accuracy. Your responsibilities will include converting epics to WBS, mapping to Jira boards, driving backlog refinement with BAs, providing hands-on code reviews across UI, API, and data layers, and resolving system-wide blockers. You will align sprint goals with contractual milestones, coordinate SIT/UAT, oversee automated regression with Pytest, Jest/Playwright, and CI/CD pipelines, present solution trade-offs to client architects and execs, and mentor 10-15 engineers while running architecture guilds and knowledge-sharing sessions.
