System Architect - EDI

You are looking for a System Architect - EDI to join Eaton's corporate IT team in Pune, India. As a System Architect, you will be responsible for defining a shared architectural vision for a simple product that supports current and future business needs. Collaborating with Agile teams, you will explore solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and work towards a cohesive solution. Additionally, you will liaise with Enterprise and Solution Architects, as well as Functional Analysts, to deliver solutions aligned with broader architectural guidelines. Your primary responsibilities will include demonstrating proficiency in EDI technical design, leading the simplification of the existing EDI Landscape, participating in planning and high-level design of EDI product solutions, and enabling a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines. You will also play a key role in negotiating with the business to prioritize nonfunctional work, evaluating customer/supplier EDI requirements, supporting daily EDI operations, and fostering relationships with technical groups. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8 to 12 years of Sterling B2B Integrator experience. Essential skills include extensive experience in software engineering practices related to EDI, familiarity with Linux operating systems, programming languages, and development platforms, as well as a solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI, and CD principles. Knowledge of B2B Integrator, cloud hosting concepts, communication protocols, and problem-solving abilities are also essential. Desirable skills include EDI Integration knowledge with Oracle/SAP, familiarity with B2B platforms like Dell Boomi, effective communication skills, collaboration abilities, and experience working with diverse global teams.
