Job Description

About the Role:

System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain
servers (Windows/Linux)
, storage, and network infrastructure.
Manage
user accounts, permissions, and access control
across systems and applications.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Apply regular
security patches, system updates, and performance tuning
.
Maintain
data backups, disaster recovery plans
, and ensure business continuity.
Administer
virtualization platforms
(VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and
cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Implement and enforce
system security policies
, firewalls, and antivirus protection.
Manage
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications such as
MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS SysOps Administrator
.
Experience in
M365, Exchange, or Azure AD
management.
Familiarity with
containerization and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with
configuration management tools
(Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
Knowledge of
ITIL best practices
for incident and change management.
Exposure to
endpoint management tools
(SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
