IT Support Engineer (Onsite at Manufacturing Plant, Kheda - Gujarat)

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to manage and support the IT infrastructure of manufacturing plant. The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, end-user support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of networking, desktop systems, and plant IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support for users, including hardware, software, printers, scanners and other IT peripheral devices.
• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot the plant IT infrastructure (switches, Wi-Fi access points, CCTV etc.).
• Handle basic networking tasks – LAN/WAN troubleshooting, patching, and connectivity issues.
• Provide first-level support for firewalls (configuration changes/escalation as required).
• Coordinate with vendors, OEM or senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting and escalations.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of the plant’s IT setup.
• Ensure minimal downtime and quick response to IT-related incidents within the plant.
• Support and comply with IT security and backup policies defined by the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1.5 to 2 years of experience in IT support / system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS (desktop/server environments).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, Wi-Fi).
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Exposure to firewalls (monitoring, reporting) preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing/plant setup.
• Ability to handle IT operations with minimal supervision.

Flexible and willing to take ownership of IT support at the plant.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
