System Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities

System and Server Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and server applications.
• Monitor server performance, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure optimal system availability.
• Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Network Management:

• Set up, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Ensure network security, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues and resolve connectivity problems.

Security and Compliance:

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, such as firewalls, encryption, and anti-virus solutions.
• Regularly update software and systems to protect against security vulnerabilities.
• Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Respond to system alerts and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and user guides.

Automation and Scripting:

• Develop scripts for automation of routine tasks (e.g., backups, monitoring, and updates).
• Create and maintain tools to streamline system management and improve efficiency.

Collaboration:

• Work with other IT staff and departments to support projects and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware/software support, purchasing, and service.

Desired Candidate Profile

Good Communication skills A professional manner.

Should have sound and proven skills/ experience in :Desktop/Laptop Management.

Ability to work flexible hours and provide emergency coverage in a 24x7x365 environment.

Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment with short timelines and fast approaching deadlines.

Should have experience in System Administration/Windows Server / Data Center Support.

Candidate should have around 3 -6 years of relevant experience and good communication.

Should Have Knowledge Of Hardware Trouble Shooting In Desktop and Laptop, Parts Replacement.
