System Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a System Administrator with 12 years of experience to support and maintain the IT infrastructure at Poornam Info Vision Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will assist in managing servers, networks, and internal systems to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient IT operations. This role offers excellent learning opportunities in system, network, and cloud administration.

Educational Qualification

• MCA or M.Sc. Computer Science
  

Experience

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in system, server, or network administration.
  
• Exposure to Linux and Windows server environments.
  
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, or Hyper-V.
  
• Experience in network setup and troubleshooting preferred.
  

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
  
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals – DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
  
• Familiarity with virtualization tools such as Proxmox, VMware, or KVM.
  
• Exposure to backup and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Site24x7, or Nagios).
  
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash/Python/PowerShell) for automation tasks.
  
• Awareness of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  
• Understanding of Data Center operations including cabling and rack management is desirable.
