The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and be located in Noida or Gurugram. You will be responsible for proactively monitoring the availability and performance of client applications and infrastructure using key tools. You should be able to quickly respond to monitoring alerts, incident tickets, and email requests coming to the team. In addition, you will need to perform infrastructure, application, and website troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently. It will be your responsibility to escalate issues to Product Engineering or Client teams as needed. You will also handle communication and notifications regarding major site issues to the management team. Documenting resolution run books and standard operating procedures will be part of your regular tasks. You will work on incidents, analyze application issues/logs, conduct impact analysis, and participate in post-incident reviews. Experience with build automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) is required for this role. You will work towards reducing manual tasks through automation, develop tools to improve efficiency, and enhance the knowledge base. Project management and the ability to work in shifts are also essential. Contractual requirements for this position include hands-on cloud experience with AWS and Azure, understanding of 3-tier production architecture, Linux OS administration, support, performance optimizations, troubleshooting, security, and hardening of the OS. Knowledge of various web servers like Tomcat, Websphere, JBoss, Apache, Nginx, Jetty, Node.js, as well as scripting languages such as bash, groovy, perl, and python are necessary. You should have experience with Java applications troubleshooting and deployments, CI-CD tools like Azure DevOps and Git, as well as hands-on experience with Jenkins and Octopus Deploy. Familiarity with Alfresco CMS, CloudFront, Cloudflare, Akamai, CDNs, Web Application Firewalls, security certificates, SSL, infrastructure concepts, networking, VMs, VPNs, subnets, gateways, DNS, Active Directory, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is expected. Moreover, you should be proficient in using monitoring tools like Datadog, NewRelic, Site24x7, Pingdom, and AppDynamics. Knowledge of databases is also required for this role.
