Company Description Mar Athanasios College For Advanced Studies Tiruvalla (MACFAST) is a premier post graduate research institute affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a System Administrator located in Pathanamthitta. The System Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the college's IT infrastructure. Tasks include network administration, providing technical support to staff and students, ensuring system security, and managing system updates and backups. The System Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of all systems and resolving any technical issues that arise promptly. Qualifications System Administration skills including maintenance and updates Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support Network Administration skills Strong knowledge of Information Technology principles and practices Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively and support a diverse user base Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus Show more Show less
