Key Responsibilities Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (RAM, HDD, motherboard, etc.). Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common business applications. Provide first-level technical support via tickets, calls, or emails. Manage user accounts and access rights (Active Directory, email, etc.). Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi), IP configuration, and VPN setup. Apply system updates, patches, and manage data backups. Ensure endpoint security and assist in resolving security incidents. Maintain documentation of support tasks, system setup procedures, and asset records. Additional Responsibilities Manage records of all installed software, antivirus solutions, and track their licensing and update status. Monitor software compliance and proactively plan renewals or upgrades. Assist in onboarding/offboarding by setting up accounts, devices, and access permissions. Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, or purchasing IT equipment. Support and maintain conferencing systems (Zoom, Teams, Meet) and AV equipment. Perform regular audits of IT assets and maintain inventory accuracy. Provide guidance and best practices to end-users on secure and efficient use of IT resources. Assist with implementation of security policies and procedures. Respond to and document security incidents, escalating when necessary. Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and their resolutions. Requirements 2+ years of IT support or system administration experience. Hands-on experience with desktop hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software environments. Basic understanding of networking principles and security tools (firewalls, antivirus, VPN). Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues independently. Good organizational and documentation skills. Strong communication and customer-service orientation. Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) ticketing systems is a plus. Nice to Have Basic understanding of software development workflows and tools (e.g., what software developers do). Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) to automate common IT tasks. Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
