Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, organizing, and modifying the University's computer systems. Your main duty will involve maintaining and managing the University's IT infrastructure, which includes servers, networks, and computer systems. It will be your task to ensure that the IT systems function reliably, provide technical support to employees, and implement security measures to safeguard the University's data and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and computer systems. - Upgrading and patching software and hardware. - Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues. - Ensuring the security and stability of the IT infrastructure. - Providing technical support to employees on IT-related issues. - Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems. - Implementing and managing security policies and procedures. - Monitoring network traffic and identifying potential security threats. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software. - Managing network traffic and ensuring optimal performance. - Implementing and managing network security measures. - Participating in the planning and implementation of new IT systems. - Staying up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and trends. - Documenting system configurations and procedures. - Working collaboratively with other IT staff and departments.
