System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• System Setup & Configuration:
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
• Deploy new hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
• Set up and manage cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Implement new technologies and services as needed.
• System Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
• Monitor the health, performance, and capacity of all IT systems.
• Identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot performance issues across infrastructure components.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of systems by using monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
• Security & Compliance:
• Implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats (e.g., firewalls, anti-virus, encryption).
• Manage user accounts and access control policies.
• Regularly update and patch operating systems, applications, and network devices to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Perform security audits and manage compliance requirements.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery:
• Configure and manage automated backup systems.
• Ensure data redundancy, integrity, and recovery plans are in place and tested regularly.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies for all critical systems.
• Network Administration:
• Set up and maintain network configurations, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Ensure network performance, security, and proper segmentation.
• User Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users regarding system issues, network connectivity, and hardware problems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network maps, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Automation & Scripting:
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Write and maintain scripts to improve operational efficiency (e.g., deployment automation, configuration management).
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure system integration and smooth operations.
• Maintain detailed records of system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Create and update knowledge base articles, user guides, and operational documentation.
• Software & License Management:
• Ensure proper licensing compliance for software and services used across the organization.
• Oversee software updates, installations, and patch management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
