Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with 5-10 years of experience to manage our IT infrastructure and ensure optimal performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our servers, networks, and cloud services while providing technical support to users. Responsibilities Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks Participate in the design of information and operational support systems Provide 2nd and 3rd level support Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration Proficiency in Windows Server administration Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) Knowledge of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
