Java Lead Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 8 or above (preferably Java 21), Spring Boot, microservices architecture, NoSQL databases, and design patterns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications leveraging Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase, or similar, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Apply industry best practices, design patterns, and principles to produce clean, maintainable, and high-performing code.
• Integrate various services and systems via RESTful APIs, message brokers, and other communication protocols.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-disciplinary teams to gather requirements, analyze, and translate into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently to ensure system stability and performance.
• Write optimized code utilizing data structures and implement design patterns (e.g., Filter Pattern) with hands-on coding.
• Leverage strong knowledge of functional programming concepts in Java 8+.
• Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries for efficient data handling.
• Contribute to UI-side development with Angular (desired but optional if focus mainly backend).
• Document design decisions, technical specifications, and process flows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in

  Core Java (Java 8 or above, preferably Java 21)

  , with practical understanding of Java features and functional programming.
• Strong background in

  Spring Boo

  Spring Framework

  , including configuration, dependency injection, and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience designing and working with

  microservices architecture

• Solid knowledge of
