SURVEYOR (Mechanical)

As a Project Manager in the EPC contractor's engineer & inspection team, your role involves overseeing Project Management activities at sites, focusing on Quality documentation, Surveillance, and Expediting. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare quality documentation in alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards, ensuring approvals from PMC/Client are obtained. Coordinating daily activities with Client/PMC/EPC regarding Field quality & documentation is a critical aspect of your role. It is imperative to ensure that services are delivered in compliance with the End user/PMC/EPC Quality Assurance System/ISO 17020 requirements, including the BV Code of Ethics and BV Group policy. Key Responsibilities: - Manage services to Clients and oversee QA/QC functions related to structural, equipment, piping, and painting at project sites. - Support QA/QC Managers in maintaining Operational KPIs, mentor Field Inspectors, supervise QC activities, analyze customer complaints/feedback, and assist in MR/quality management system tasks. - Conduct review meetings with clients/operation team, perform contract reviews for Technical requirements, and address execution/inspection bottlenecks. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10 years of experience as a Surveyor in Oil & gas projects with EPC/PMC, focusing on QA/QC functions. - B Tech degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/production. - NDT ASNT level II certification in PT, UT, MT, RT & VT. - Mandatory possession of CSWIP 3.1/AWS certification; B-Gas/NACE certification would be an added advantage. In terms of inspection activities, you will be responsible for various tasks including Inspection of Pressure Vessels & components, Piping, Pipes & Tubes, Castings, Steel structures for oil & gas projects, and Subcontract Assessment. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing and maintaining site documentations, procedures, FQPs, and field reports as per project specifications for client/PMC approval. Regarding HSE responsibilities, it is crucial to adhere to the BV Cardinal Safety Rules, comply with company HSE requirements, ensure health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and others, report any HSE shortcomings promptly, and suggest opportunities for HSE improvement. Your Performance Evaluation will be based on various KPIs such as timely report delivery to clients, report quality, inspections within allocated timeframe, client claims, detention ratio, customer satisfaction, and knowledge sharing practices.,
