As the Project Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will include overseeing all Quality assurance and Quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, from Design/ Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Inspection/ Testing to Commissioning phases. You will be advising and guiding project line management on all Quality and verification activities, along with related technical matters. It will be your responsibility to establish, implement, operate, and maintain the Quality Management System for projects in compliance with relevant standards. You will also play a key role in identifying, allocating quality resources, and providing Quality training for all project personnel, ensuring that they understand and effectively execute their responsibilities as per the quality plan and procedures. Familiarity with international codes and standards used in the Oil and gas industries is a must-have for this position. Additionally, possessing ASNT Level II/III certification in NDE techniques and certification (CSWIP/AWS/NACE/BGAS) in Welding and Painting inspection would be advantageous. You should possess NDT Level II certification in UT, RT, MT, PT and have knowledge of AWS D1.1 / IS Code. Your key responsibilities will include the preparation of Quality Control Plans (QCP) when necessary, performing inspections as per approved QCP, reviewing and potentially establishing new Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), witnessing welder qualifications, ensuring qualified welder records, conducting fit-up checks, weld visual inspections, dimensional inspections, and reviewing NDT reports according to the approved QCP. Additionally, you will be involved in painting inspections, marking/tagging checks, updating structural fabrication records and reports, ensuring the use of calibrated instruments, maintaining records of instrument calibration, dispatching all reports electronically or physically as required, and conducting any other activities as per the QCP.
