SURVEYOR (Mechanical)

As a Project Manager in the field of Oil & Gas projects with EPC/PMC, your role will involve overseeing Quality documentation, Surveillance, and Expediting activities as part of the EPC contractor's engineer & inspection team. You will be responsible for preparing quality documentation in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and obtaining approvals from PMC/Client. Coordinating daily activities related to Field quality & documentation with Client/PMC/EPC is a critical aspect of your responsibilities. It is imperative to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the End user/PMC/EPC Quality Assurance System/ISO 17020 requirements, including adherence to the BV Code of Ethics and BV Group policy. Your qualifications should include over 10 years of experience as a Surveyor in QA/QC functions within Oil & Gas projects with EPC/PMC. A B Tech degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/production is necessary, along with NDT ASNT level II certification in PT, UT, MT, RT & VT. Possession of CSWIP 3.1/AWS certification is mandatory, with B-Gas/NACE certification being an additional advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Manage services to Clients and oversee QA/QC functions for structural, equipment, piping, and painting at project sites. - Support QA/QC Managers in maintaining Operational KPIs, mentor Field Inspectors, supervise QC activities, analyze customer complaints/feedback, and assist in MR/quality management system tasks. - Conduct review meetings with clients/operation team, perform contract reviews for Technical requirements, and identify execution/inspection bottlenecks. You will also be responsible for various inspection activities including: - Inspection of Pressure Vessels & components - Inspection of Piping - Inspection of Pipes & Tubes - Receipt inspection of bought-out items - Inspection of Castings - Inspection of Steel structure for oil & gas projects - Subcontract Assessment Additionally, you will prepare and maintain site documentations, procedures, FQPs, and field reports as per project specifications for submission to client/PMC approval. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Responsibilities: - Comply with BV Cardinal Safety Rules and company HSE requirements. - Ensure health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and others. - Report any HSE shortcomings immediately and share improvement opportunities on HSE aspects. Your Performance Evaluation will be based on various KPIs including: - Timely delivery of reports to the client - Quality of reports - Inspections completed within allocated timeframe - Client claims and detention ratio - Customer satisfaction - Sharing of information, best practices, and knowledge management.,
