Job Description

As a Project Management professional at sites within the Oil & Gas industry, your primary responsibility will be to oversee Quality documentation, Surveillance, and Expediting activities as part of the EPC contractor's engineering and inspection tasks for various Projects. You will be expected to prepare quality documentation in accordance with project specifications, relevant codes, and standards, ensuring approval from PMC/Client. Your role will involve coordinating daily activities with Client/PMC/EPC related to Field quality and documentation. It is imperative that you ensure and perform services aligning with the End-user/PMC/EPC Quality Assurance System/ISO 17020 requirements, following the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy. To be considered eligible for this position, you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Surveyor in Oil & Gas projects with EPC/PMC, specifically in QA/QC functions. A B. Tech degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production is required, along with certifications in NDT ASNT level II in PT, UT, MT, RT & VT, CSWIP 3.1/AWS. Additional qualifications in B-Gas/NACE would be advantageous. Your major responsibilities will include managing services to Clients, overseeing QA/QC functions concerning structural, equipment, piping, and painting at project sites. Supporting QA/QC Managers in maintaining Operational KPIs, mentoring a group of Field Inspectors, monitoring and supervising all QC activities, and analyzing customer complaints/feedback will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for holding review meetings with clients/operation teams, conducting contract reviews for technical requirements, and performing inspections of various components and structures as per relevant codes and standards. In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will be required to adhere to HSE guidelines, including compliance with BV Cardinal Safety Rules and company HSE requirements. Ensuring the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and others, reporting any HSE shortcomings, and sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects are essential for this role. Performance evaluation will be based on criteria such as the time taken to deliver reports to clients, the quality of reports, timely completion of inspections, client claims, detention ratio, customer satisfaction, and sharing information, best practices, and knowledge management. Your role will also involve preparation and maintenance of site documentations, project coordination, and management, including the implementation of inspection checklists, coordination for inspection of bought-out items and site inspections, and coordination for fabricated structural parts. Overall, as a Project Management professional in the Oil & Gas industry, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities related to quality assurance, inspection, project coordination, and HSE compliance.,
