Surface Preparation Monitoring: Inspect and verify surface preparation methods (blasting, cleaning, etc.) are performed as per project specifications and standards. 2. Paint Material Inspection: Ensure that paints and coatings conform to approved specifications, with valid manufacturer certifications and proper storage conditions. 3. Environmental Condition Assessment: Monitor and document ambient conditions like temperature, humidity, and dew point to confirm suitability for painting operations. 4. Application Oversight: Supervise the application of coatings, ensuring correct methods, tools, and application thicknesses are used. 5. Thickness and Quality Testing: Measure and verify both wet film and dry film thickness (DFT) to confirm compliance with specification requirements. 6. Holiday and Adhesion Testing: Conduct specialized tests such as holiday testing and adhesion checks to assess coating integrity and durability. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate daily inspection reports, material traceability, test records, and non-conformance reports. 8. Compliance with Standards: Ensure all work is performed in line with international standards (SSPC, ISO, NACE) and client requirements. 9. Coordination with Teams: Work closely with contractors, project engineers, and client representatives to resolve quality issues and ensure timely execution. 10. Safety and Housekeeping: Promote adherence to safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping during inspection and painting operations. 11. Final Inspection and Approval: Participate in final inspections and assist in the handover process by ensuring all painting works are completed to satisfaction.
