Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgery Coder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in surgical coding, demonstrating proficiency in accurately coding surgical procedures and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of surgical procedures.
Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for surgeries and related services.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding queries.
Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
Prepare and maintain records of coding reviews and audits for quality assurance.

Skills and Qualifications

1-5 years of experience in surgical coding or medical coding.
Any certification is preferred
Proficient in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy related to surgical procedures.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
