Supply Chain Experienced Professional

Role Overview: As a Supply Chain professional at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in implementing and adhering to Supply Chain Management strategies and processes in the INOPC business unit. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring material availability, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness in factories. You will lead the procurement process for defined material groups, focusing on achieving timely availability, cost savings, quality, and service level objectives. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies and manage supplier performance to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and adhere to SCM practices such as Strategic Sourcing, Process & Excellence, Risk Management, Supply Base Management & Quality - Design and implement plans for local sourcing to meet business targets - Support regional and global sourcing initiatives, drive the implementation of global SCM initiatives, and monitor performance and KPIs - Develop SCM sourcing concepts in alignment with Category Managers, including supplier selection and new material strategies - Identify and develop new suppliers for critical materials, conduct sourcing strategies, and monitor supplier performance - Adapt the corporate contractual framework to local business needs, recommend frame agreements, and support bid and proposal teams - Plan, initialize, and monitor strategic sourcing activities for projects and new product developments - Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with contractual terms - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management - Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Management - Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills - Results orientation with proven implementation skills - Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks on a daily basis - Compliance and ethics oriented, willingness to travel up to 15% - Preferred certifications in CPSM or PMP, experience with SAP, Documentation Management Systems, Power BI, and proficiency with Microsoft Office - Fluent in English, other languages a plus - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade Note: Hitachi Energy values safety and integrity, emphasizing responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
