Position Overview: Futuristic Labs is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Supply Chain Executive to optimize and oversee their supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will manage technical product sourcing, logistics, inventory, and manufacturing processes, collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient material and product flow. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Product Sourcing: - Identify and establish relationships with domestic and international vendors. - Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. - Negotiate contracts for favorable terms and conditions. 2. Logistics Management: - Develop strategies for timely delivery of materials and products. - Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. - Monitor logistics costs while maintaining service levels. 3. Inventory Management: - Oversee inventory planning to meet production and customer demands. - Implement systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. - Analyze data for accuracy and efficiency improvements. 4. Manufacturing Lead Time Reduction: - Collaborate with manufacturing teams for process improvements. - Develop strategies to reduce lead times and enhance efficiency. - Ensure timely product delivery by monitoring production schedules. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Align supply chain activities with company goals across departments. - Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams. - Support new product launches through innovation initiatives. 6. Supplier Relationship Management: - Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. - Monitor supplier performance and address issues. - Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards. 7. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree/MBA preferred. - 6-8 years of supply chain experience in a technical or manufacturing environment. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in supply chain management software. - Experience with international vendors and global supply chain dynamics.
