Job Title: BOM Executive
Location: B S Halli Facility, Nelamangala

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive BOM Executive to manage and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for our B S Halli facility. This role serves as a critical link between Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Accounts—ensuring correct material mapping, cost accuracy, and smooth documentation flow across departments. The BOM Executive will support part creation, data validation, and coordination to maintain system integrity and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in coordination with Engineering and Production teams.
  • Ensure accurate material mapping, part numbering, and revision control in ERP systems.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to verify material specifications, vendor details, and cost inputs required for BOM completeness.
  • Work closely with Accounts for cost validations, GRN checks, and resolving discrepancies related to BOM-linked materials.
  • Track changes in design or production requirements and update BOMs accordingly.
  • Ensure that all BOM entries follow approval workflows, documentation standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain records of part lists, revisions, engineering change notes (ECNs), and related documentation.
  • Assist in generating monthly BOM-related reports, cost summaries, and consumption analysis.
  • Follow up with internal teams (Engineering, Stores, Quality, Procurement, and Accounts) to ensure alignment of material requirements and inventory availability.
  • Support the preparation of purchase requests arising from BOM requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of BOM structure, material mapping, and part coding.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and components.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (creation of items, BOM, routing, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Good analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Awareness of procurement and basic accounting concepts related to materials.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple BOM revisions and tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Engineering (B.Com/BBA/B.E./B.Tech preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in BOM management, supply chain coordination, production documentation, or related functions in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
