Supply Chain Buyer

As a Supply Chain Buyer at Optimas, your role is to provide best-in-class service to customers in a multi-location global distribution environment by collaborating effectively with sales, supply chain, and operations teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Evaluating and actioning compliant system buy messages - Updating parameters and liaising with vendors for PO acknowledgements - Evaluating and responding to supplier feedback to ensure quality PO's with on-time deliveries - Maintaining strong supplier relationships - Adhering to Supply Chain Buyers key performance indicators - Embracing the THREAD values of Optimas You will also be responsible for continuous communication with suppliers, purchasing tasks, effective collaboration with internal departments, and striving to meet or exceed key performance indicators. Collaboration with Supply Chain Planners and Demand Planning to improve forecast and order portfolios is essential. Other tasks and duties may be assigned as needed. The ideal candidate for this role should possess competencies in strategic vision, building organizational capacity, being results-driven, embracing change, collaboration and influence, entrepreneurial spirit, and customer value and market focus.
