Supply Chain Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Daily Operations & Analysis:

• Conduct daily analysis of all shipments, including inbound and outbound logistics, to track performance and identify potential delays or issues.
• Generate and review daily MIS reports to provide key stakeholders with a clear overview of supply chain performance metrics.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and freight costs, and report on performance.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Macros, to automate daily reporting and data analysis tasks.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau, QlikView, or similar business intelligence tools to visualize supply chain data and provide actionable insights.
• Collect, clean, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement and cost reduction.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

• Analyze existing supply chain processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain initiatives and systems.
• Apply knowledge of Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) to ensure correct shipping procedures and documentation, minimizing risks and costs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with procurement, logistics, production, and sales teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and products.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to different levels of management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Experience in the solar industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced knowledge of Macros.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau or QlikView is added advantage.
• Familiarity with various ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics.
• Solid knowledge of Incoterms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
