Role Summary

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll bridge data analytics and strategic procurement to optimize supplier performance, cost efficiency across Nextracker's global Supply chain. You'll leverage analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools to drive sourcing insights, streamline procurement workflows, and support category managers in building resilient and cost-effective supply ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Analytics
• Analyze supplier spend, pricing trends, and cost structures to identify savings opportunities and sourcing leverage points.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking for key commodities and suppliers to inform sourcing strategies.
• Support strategy development with supplier performance scorecards, Total cost, Lead time analyses, and risk assessments.
• Build dashboards and automated reports on supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, lead-time, capacity).
• Partner with commodity managers / sourcing leads to drive competitive bidding, supplier rationalization, and localization strategies.
• Supply Chain & Cost Optimization
• Support long-term cost reduction roadmaps and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with clear performance metrics and analytics.
• Collaborate with operations and planning teams to ensure supplier capacity aligns with demand forecasts and project timelines.
• Process & System Enablement
• Design, document, and automate sourcing and supplier management workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and sourcing documentation.
• Continuously improve RFQ, supplier onboarding, and contract lifecycle management processes.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Experience: 46 years in strategic sourcing, sourcing analytics, or supply chain optimization.
• Analytics Expertise: Advanced Excel & Power BI skills for spend and cost analysis.
• Familiarity with contract and supplier performance management frameworks.
• Process Discipline: Experience in process mapping, SOP creation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills ability to synthesize data into executive-level insights
  

Good-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing or renewable energy supply chains (e.g., EMS, components, steel, drives, electronics).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and procurement tools (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.).
• Skills in Power Apps or Power Automate for workflow digitization and approvals.
• Knowledge of commodity cost drivers (materials, logistics, energy).
• Experience leading or supporting supplier localization and dual-sourcing initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).

• Analytics-driven sourcing platforms built or enabled to build.
• Supplier performance improvement (OTD, quality, responsiveness) tracking.
• Reduction in sourcing related activities cycle time and non-value-added steps.
• Accuracy and adoption of dashboards and sourcing analytics tools.
• Stakeholder satisfaction and business impact of insights delivered.
