Supplier Quality and Management Engineer

As a highly motivated Engineer with Supplier Quality and Management skills, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all materials, components, and services provided by external suppliers meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include leading supplier qualification, development, and onboarding processes, conducting supplier audits and assessments, reviewing and approving supplier documentation, monitoring supplier performance metrics, investigating supplier-related non-conformances, and collaborating with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, you will support cross-functional teams during product development, ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain accurate records of supplier quality documentation. Your qualifications for this role include a Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience working on Supplier Quality and Management in a regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, medical devices, etc.) is a plus. Desired skills for this position include a strong knowledge of quality systems and tools such as FMEA, 8D, CAPA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP. You should also have experience with supplier audits and root cause analysis, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel to supplier sites (domestic/international) as needed. With 47 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or supply chain quality roles for Composites, you are well-equipped to excel in this position.,
