Supervisor - Retail

As a Store Assistant at Goodwill, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store. Your responsibilities will include assisting the management team, overseeing production and retail operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing leadership, guidance, and training to the staff, you will help create a positive work environment that fosters productivity and achieves departmental goals. - Provide excellent customer service to customers and donors. - Offer leadership, guidance, and training to motivate staff and achieve departmental goals. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment with merchandise appropriately displayed. - Assist in performance evaluations, goal setting conversations, and work schedules. - Document and report any concerns or issues to management promptly. - Support the implementation of organizational initiatives such as the 4DX methodology. Qualifications: - Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. - Experience: One year of supervisory experience; retail experience is a plus. - Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including email, internet use, Microsoft Word, and Excel. - Certificates & Licenses: CA Driver's License, an insured reliable vehicle, and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's insurance company. - Other Requirements: Ability to operate an electronic cash register, understand retail store principles, and work with basic arithmetic.,
